On April 23, 2026, the Kraynak Institute hosted Iranian-American journalist and women’s rights activist Masih Alinejad to speak to ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ students in a lecture and private conversation.

On April 11, in the Hall of Presidents, ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ hosted its annual TIA Entrepreneur Showcase presented by the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

On March 14, the ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ Chorus performed at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium in New York City under the direction of Sinhaeng Lee, assistant professor of music and director of choral programs.

Hall of Fame surfer Bethany Hamilton delivered a keynote address and shared her story of resilience during a Sunday church service on Mar. 10 in ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ Memorial Chapel.

ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ hosted the grand opening of the C Store in the O’Connor Campus Center on Friday, Feb. 13, adding to the University’s ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ Day celebrations.

The Alasitas Festival is celebrated at ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ as a collaboration with the Longyear Museum of Anthropology and the Native American Indigenous Students Association.
