Department of Campus Safety

Campus Safety is committed to maintaining the safety and security of the campus community in a caring, respectful, and professional manner.

Campus Safety actively prepares for, prevents, and responds to various safety and security situations on campus and actively builds community with our students. Our campus safety officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are the first responders during any campus emergency.

Parking

All vehicles must be registered with Campus Safety and have a properly displayed permit decal.

Driver Safety

Students and employees must be authorized to operate ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ vehicles and follow the policy.

Students and employees may qualify for non-emergency medical transport.

Event Support

We provide event security, risk assessments, parking management, and traffic control.

Gate Card
Lost ’Gate Cards

Students may report a lost of stolen ’Gate Card and have it replaced by Campus Safety.

Bike Registration

Protect your bikes and scooters and register them with Campus Safety.

In addition to the above services, Campus Safety also provides motor vehicle assistance, personal safety escorts,  and will assist with building and room lock outs when authorized. Call Campus Safety at 315-228-7333 for help.

ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ (RAVE) Alerts

Students, and employees are encouraged to subscribe to the RAVE Alert system to receive important emergency or weather-related cancellation information via text, email, and phone.

 

Guardian App

The ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ Guardian safety app is available to all students, staff, and faculty. This app provides a direct connection to campus safety contacts, anonymous tips, and a safety walk timer.
